This policy explains what data BrokerChooser.top collects and why.
What we collect. When you visit the site, our server records the request: the page you opened, the country your request came from (derived from your IP address by our hosting provider), the referring page, and basic browser information. If you arrive from an advertisement, the advertising click identifier in the URL is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days. When you click through to a trading platform, we generate a random click identifier and store it together with that advertising identifier so that we can tell which advertisement led to a registration. We do not collect your name, email address or any other directly identifying information unless you email us.
Cookies and local storage. We use local storage for the advertising click identifier described above and to remember which country ranking you last viewed. We use analytics to understand which pages are read and where readers leave. Trading platforms you click through to set their own cookies once you are on their site; those are governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
Why we process it. To measure advertising, to detect fraud, and to improve the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and financing the service.
Sharing. Aggregated conversion data is shared with our advertising provider so that campaigns can be measured, and click identifiers are passed to the trading platform you clicked through to so that our commission can be attributed. We do not sell personal data.
Retention. Click and conversion records are kept for 24 months, server logs for 30 days.
Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to processing, by emailing [email protected]. You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings.
Children. This site is not intended for anyone under 18.
